Herman Miller Booklet | Sustainability

The principle parameters for this graphic design examined a collection of Herman Miller chairs working with type and image together to create a conventional booklet utilizing the grid system. 

I chose sustainable sourced chairs from the Herman Miller Collection that focused on nature-based design and utilized natural wood textures, color pallet, and Mohawk environmental paper to support Herman Miller’s mission on sustainability. Exploration of visual rhythm examined through type, image, and the grid system. Vertical and horizontal connections in columns are used to create visual balance. Hierarchy achieved through color, type size, weight, as well as, changes in image size and scale.
